Dull and boring

Facebook and forums seem full of reports of heavy rain everywhere. Well we've missed it! So far! But today is a really grey, fine mist drizzle day. Shame because the views from Fintry to Kippen and on to Stirling would have been spectacular. 

It was so grey and dull I couldn't even be bothered to pull over for what would have been a great photo of Stirling Castle, and I might even have found a viewpoint for the striking Wallace Monument too had I tried 

So pop into Stirling, mooch around a few shops, have an excellent coffee in Stirling Coffee, roasters as well as a coffee shop. 

Then on to Alloa for another mooch, this time getting Scottish square sausage for dinner and then because we couldn't find a nice independent baker in either town over to Tesco's for some veg and a small loaf. 

Did I say this was a dull and boring day, with an accompanying dull and boring blog entry. 

The campsite is on the edge of Alloa, nice enough but, to be honest, almost as dull and boring as the rest of the day. Although the views to the hills/mountains might be nice if the drear ever lifts.
