So, a new blogging platform, eh! What's wrong with just running the old one and extending the travel blog? Well, firstly it runs on a tiny Raspberry Pi computer here in the house so is vulnerable to power or home internet outages, and secondly the Ghost blogging software it is using keeps changing and becoming more geared to folks running commercial blog sites rather than a simple daily dairy.
It was good to see that Google had not 'sunset' Blogger but have actually improved it since back in the days when it was my first blogging platform. And there's a Blogger app for phones so quick posts might be easy, although I think the phone app lacks formatting options.
Anyway here we are - a new blogging platform - lets see how it goes!
